After a decisive victory at the Lusail Grand Prix, the reigning world champion has significantly closed the gap in the title race. "We have triumphed where maybe it seemed unlikely, through the right call as a group," Verstappen added. "The partnership with my team on the pit wall and the whole team... we are deeply connected."

With the paddock travel to Abu Dhabi, the points situation is crystal clear.
